Lot 20 is a washing station founded by Sidney Kibet in 2019, working closely with farmers across the hills of Kericho, Bomet, Nandi, Kisii, and Migori. They pay farmers upfront, source cherries locally, and keep value within the communities they grow in, a quietly radical approach for Kenyan coffee.
Compote sits at the gentler end of cooked fruit, stone-fruit-led, rounded, depth without intensity. Expect ripe plum and a quiet, layered sweetness. Batian and Ruiru 11, modern Kenyan varietals built for resilience and climate, bringing real clarity and balance to a coffee that feels at home in the cup.
