About Us

Voyager is a small but super-charged team looking to make the UK better through coffee. What does that mean, you might ask? Well, we believe that access to great coffee, no matter where you find yourself, helps you power through those less enjoyable parts of your day and enables an endless stream of productivity during all the rest.

On the edge of Dartmoor National Park, we hand roast sustainable, award-winning coffees. We have an awesome array of customers from quirky mobile coffee trailers and coffee houses to restaurants and boutique hotels as well as retail delicatessens and a thriving home-brewing customer base. We are a small company with big ideas and a team that put in 100% to provide our customers with an unparalleled combination of outstanding coffee, equipment & services that are remarkable in every sense.

If we have open roles they are listed below but you’re also welcome to send an open application in! Please send all applications as a CV and/or Cover Letter in PDF format to [email protected].

Roastery Production Assistant | Flexible Part-Time

As Roastery Production Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of getting fresh Voyager coffee to our wholesale and at-home customers—roasting, grinding, and packing across both manual and machine processes. You’ll follow and maintain roast profiles to meet quality control, handle high-volume packing, and keep our equipment running with regular cleaning and maintenance.

What you’ll do

  • Roast and pack coffee to quality-control standards, manually and with semi-automatic machinery
  • Maintain stock levels set by our Gabe (head roaster) and Henry (logistics)
  • Label accurately and pull any product that doesn’t meet standards
  • Produce and pack white-label and home-buyer orders
  • Keep the roastery clean and uphold Food Safety, hygiene, and organic production standards
  • Complete tracking documents and communicate with customers when needed

What we’re looking for

  • A genuine love for specialty coffee—essential
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organisation
  • A logical, hands-on problem-solver who thrives in a busy production environment
  • Good written and spoken English, solid computer skills, and accurate data input
  • A reliable team player, happy to get stuck in
