Produced by Aulia Kahfi at Rakyat Farm and a handful of neighbouring out-growers. Aulia is an enterprising young producer building a micro-supply chain across his community, encouraging quality and experimentation at every step.
Sumatra is known for wet-hulled coffees, which are often bold and earthy. This coffee is different—fermented anaerobically for 24 hours, then carefully dried on patios—resulting in a clean, fruit-forward cup which the roastery team love. Sesongot is a fruity coffee with subtle blackberry jelly notes paired with herbaceous overtones of rosemary. The roast is kept gentle and light to bring out the fruit-forward flavours.
Named after a colourful caterpillar native to the Gayo highlands, Sesongot is a joyful expression of what’s possible in Sumatra.
