Our signature organic espresso, Fat Roc, represents our longstanding commitment to ethically sourced and sustainably grown coffee. Created to showcase the best of certified organic coffee from around the world, Fat Roc has always been about exceptional flavour made accessible.
This single origin from Honduras is a medium-to-dark roast with a bold yet balanced profile. Expect rich toffee and caramel notes with a touch of warming spice. Its medium-to-full body makes it versatile – delicious both as an espresso or with milk.
The coffee is grown by Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada (Capucas), located on the slopes of the Celaque mountain- the highest peak in Honduras. The cooperative began in 1999 with 55 members and now supports over 75 farmers and 2,500 community members. Active members grow organic and Fairtrade-certified coffee under native shade trees.
This lot is Bird Friendly certified, meaning it’s grown without deforestation, under 40% shade cover with at least 11 native tree species. Making it one of the most biodiversity-conscious certifications in coffee.
