A floral and light cup made from natural (dried on tree) and pulped (semi-washed) cherries.
Daterra itself is three farms, Boa Vista, Taboues and Franca but they all work as one.
Each lot is differentiated by soil, aspect, varietal, hours of sun and all differ slightly over the farms and are also subdivided into 1-5 hectare sectors and assigned their own agronomist in charge of it, logging data and making sure everything runs smoothly and to plan. In total this amounts to 42 agronomists looking after 560 sectors.
Daterra have blended two different processes to achieve a more complex cup with the best of both worlds: high sweetness with refreshing fruit notes. The aroma gives away the floral profile of this coffee named Blossom -you’ll find jasmine and raspberries. On the flavour, more raspberries but also mango, nuts and honey like sweetness and lots of caramel in the finish.
